OUR PASTOR

 

Imolyn Whitehill is the pastor of Greenfield Church of God of Prophecy located at 14625 Greenfield in Detroit Michigan. She was educated at Wayne State University where she earned a Bachelor and Masters Degree in the Science of Education. With her degrees, she taught Detroit Public Schools for 19 years. She also attended Ashland Theological Seminary where she studied pastoral ministry. Pastor Whitehill has been pastor of Greenfield COGOP since 1990. She has trained and sent pastors to different local churches. These churches include River Rouge, Jackson, Sodus, Melvindale, and Atlanta. Pastor Whitehill is married to Lonnie Whitehill. The Whitehill’s have five children, Dawnette Dobson, Stephen Dobson, Charles Dobson, Norman Dobson, and Ray Whitehill. They also have one adopted son, Lamar, and three grandchildren, Rachael, Raymond James, and Xavier. All of the Dobson’s are musicians. They play the keyboard, drums, and the bongos, and they all love the Lord!
